Off the shores of Ala Moana Park (Oahu) floated around 2,200 wooden and paper lanterns honoring loved ones from all walks of life who have passed away. Sponsored by Shinnyo-En Hawaii and the Na Lei Aloha Foundation, the annual Lantern Floating Ceremony is a Hawaii tradition. This year's event saw more an 40,000 people from around the world experience the same moment of loving memory and a call for world peace....
