Cruise Ship Down the Street

The view of a cruise ship at the end of a street in downtown
Honolulu always fascinated me. It's been a while for me to
finally coordinate my efforts to have a cruise ship docked,

Grrr-rr-r! . . . Linen.

So . . . I bought the first 2 shirts online with a pricing I could
not resist. Much to my surprise it was made from linen fabric
a " most unforgiven " type of fabric. It is the least favorite fabric
that I like. It wrinkles easily . . . always needs ironing . . . and it
certainly doesn't give the appearance of an immaculate dresser.

" Poi " is made from taro root. As children, since it was so
bland in taste we use to put cream and sugar it then it tasted
good like pudding. One day when we were at luau my Dad
insisted we eat it without adding any sweet condiments so it
would be eaten like it should. Now I can go to any luau and
eat it as tradition meant it to be.

The Best of a Caesar Salad

I absolutely love my Caesar Salad. There's Caesar Salad with
Grilled Chicken or Seared Blackened Ahi but I like to prepare mine
at home with Chinese Char Siu Pork. The marriage of pork with
a touch of sweetness to balance the tangy Caesar Salad.
